Im not saying the british government would invade us again.... Listen what im trying to say here is that we like to preserve what men and women died for in america, freedom. People are dying as a result of that "freedom" cos they can't afford healthcare...

[ Notice the reason we had the revolution in the first place was for all these UNJUST TAXES, Sounds like 1776 all over again to me. do you feel that people with higher incomes should have no moral responsibility for those without access to medical and healthcare because they can't afford to buy it?

You must work. Yep, its better to give willfully and actually mean it then willfully and not at all.

This isnt a country where you can slack off like you can in socialized countries. You must work. tell that to the people who taken advantage of welfare and are on unemployment.

You must work. I know people who have THREE jobs and still can't afford healthcare and are getting ill and so will no longer be able to work those jobs so can never afford healthcare.

Take health care when you want, and not when the goverment says you can. Just like in the movie, "John Q" with denzel washington.

You just asked why we were hung up on it. You really can't read can you? I just pointed out that if your constitution stops you from being a healthy nation, you should change it. I still don't understand how emotional some Americans can get about their founding fathers and their constitution. this isnt a country where you can slack off like you can in socialized countries. You must work. I can assure you, that people in my country have to work.

I still don't understand how emotional some Americans can get about their founding fathers and their constitution. You don't see why I like to defend the constitution? Its because im patriotic. this isnt a country where you can slack off like you can in socialized countries. You must work. Okay then, not every country works the same. if it did it would just be one government.

I still don't understand how emotional some Americans can get about their founding fathers and their constitution. this isnt a country where you can slack off like you can in socialized countries. You must work. I can assure you, that people in my country have to work. The problem is that most of the time, if not all of the time, when a bill or plan runs against the constitution it's more so a bill or plan our tub-thumping politicians want to pass to be more "tolerant". If we allowed them to keep us on that train, it would be our ruin. You can't tolerate everything, it's not possible (if it was, humanity would just look like robots marching to the drum of nothing). More than likely, if something runs against the constitution it's not that healthy for our country. A government changing or overturning laws just to create new ones it couldn't before is a very very dangerous game. The emotion you speak of comes from the strong belief in the founding fathers' principles. We can't just disregard them now because all of the sudden they aren't convenient. When a country forgets where it comes from, either by "accident" or on purpose, that's when it destroys itself. It's good that people in The Netherlands need to work, but the socialist system still allows for people to take advantage of the sharing by getting paid to do nothing.

[ Notice the reason we had the revolution in the first place was for all these UNJUST TAXES, Sounds like 1776 all over again to me. do you feel that people with higher incomes should have no moral responsibility for those without access to medical and health care because they can't afford to buy it? Do you feel that a governing body has a right to decide who is morally responsible for anything? Playing God a little bit don't you think? Another way to say it: I totally do believe that people have responsibility for the less fortunate, in fact it's central to my beliefs. However, that belief is distinct from believing that a government has a right to make the judgment of who is responsible for who, how much, and how to enforce that responsibility. The absolute law of this nation does not provide the federal government a blank check to make that call. If anything, the state governments should decide individually how to implement it. If it happens, it should be because the people of this nation decide it should happen. That's fine. The law provides the people a right to change anything they feel like. If the government finds a way to do it practically and reliably, and stops feeding us bulls**t about it, I'll support the hell out of it. However, they have not even brought forward a real bill, nor have they at any time hinted that the American public might have a hand in making the decision.
