I said marriage is a necessary step in life. Therefore, you not getting married is out of sync with, (dare I say it) God's design and plan. Right, so then the apostle Paul was going against God's plan [according to you] by remaining single and telling others in the church that it's actually good to be single so that you can focus more on doing the work of God if you are called to serve in that capacity? I said that celibacy is a special gift. I guess abstaining from marriage could be grouped into that.

Unlike not pooping for a week, not ejaculating isn't mortal. Mental health and overall state of mind is the issue here, not mortality. Some (i.e. VERY FEW) people can be just fine without it; however, the rest of us are affected by a complete lack of sexual activity to varying degrees (Girls are as well, though generally to a far lesser extent).

It seems contradictory that God gave us free-will but his plan is for us to get married, just saying. I sort of misspoke when I said "his plan". What I mean is, what he says is good for us to do for the benefit of our quality of life and spirit.

I addressed that earlier by saying that that is just submitting to a frame of mind that isn't inherit.

Being single and being married both have their advantages and are good in their own ways, as well as having their own sets of possible issues. Neither is somehow inherently better than the other.
Also, you can't hold it against someone if they are unable to alter their subconscious thought processes. After all, the vast majority of the brain works subconsciously. You can't simply will something away from your mind that is out of your ability to control.

Pornography is used for the pursuit of fulfilling unattained desires.
Also, when it comes down to it the issue/problem that arises from this whole discussion is lust.

Saying that porn is addicting is admitting to having a weak mind. Mental addictions are very easily contained if you have any amount of self-control. Whoever tells you that watching porn will destroy your marriage or future sex in real life is f**king retarded. Real sex>>>>>>>>>>jacking off like a lonely bastard to porn. There is no middle ground here folks.

Sex is a gift of God for expressing love between a man and a woman, the fruit of which is children. Therefore, from a Christian point of view, it ought to be practised in love in the holy institution of marrige, as God designed. Masturbation, in all its forms, falls outside of that; it is not done out of love, nor within marriage.
So roughly, what Landon and Jeremy said; real loving sex>>>>>>>masturbating because of unattained desires, like a lonely person
As for staying single or not, marriage in Gods plan:
"For I would that all men were even as I myself*. But every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that. I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, It is good for them if they abide even as I. But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn. " (1 Corinthioans 7:7-9)
*which is, unmarried.

I find it interesting that sex is only an earthly thing. There will be no sex after this life.

I've never really understood that. There are more passages in 1 Corinthians concerning not being married. But yeah, I must admit I just don't really understand why there won't be marriage after the resurrection.
