What was the last movie that you saw that made you think...really made you think...made you think a thought...what was the movie, what was the thought and where has that train taken you?

I saw "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" and it made me think about how I could be doing something a lot more productive then wasting 5 bucks doing nothing...no, that wasn't any good, let me try again. Uh, when I saw "Return of the King", I asked myself this question..."So even when it seems everything is dying and crashing down, good still overpowers evil?" And the answer is "yes" ofcourse, and I am hoping I wasn't the only person thinking this. Haha.

The last movie I saw was Longest Yard. Can't say that this falls in that category. Probably Revenge of the Sith. Seeing how evil Darth Vader and the dark side really is. I'm actually using Star Wars quotes off and on now. Strange.

The last movie I saw was Silence of the Lambs (for like the billionth time). That movie always disturbs me because, for me anyway (I don't know if it's like this for everyone), it always makes me think about people you know. The killer in the movie, his first victim was someone he knew. It never fails to make me wonder about my neighbors or even random acquaintances.
*shrugs* I'm weird like that.

Hmmm, wonder if she thinks that about me? Us? Her next door neighbor?

Hahahaha just know that I'm not suffering from any kind of paranoia....it's just a thought, ya know. One of those "what if" things. And only right after watching that movie.

Hahahaha just know that I'm not suffering from any kind of paranoia....it's just a thought, ya know. One of those "what if" things. And only right after watching that movie. If you were paranoid about such a thing your fears would have a grand scope of criminal statistics to justify them, the majority of serial killer's first victims are persons they know and whom live close by...the majority of murders for that matter of by people known to the victim, even their own family...the cops aren't just being mean when they interview and investigate the families first, statistics show that most murders are committed by close friends or relatives! Choose your friends wisely is not just a played out adage...it could save your life (though we all have to die eventually)...dude! I just found this sermon by CH (friggin) Spurgeon...don't know if that rings any bells, but the sermon is titled "Be Mindful of Dying" or in Latin, yes friggin Latin---"Memento Mori" (nice!)...you can find this here---http://www.biblebb.com/files/spurgeon/0304.htm...but back to the topic of paranoia, don't be like the fool who refuses to go outside for fear that a lion will devour him! (yes, ladies and gentlemen...that was a quote from the Bible...the friggin Bible!!!)

Oh I know, me and Alan had like this huge conversation about it one day hahaha. (no, we're not a morbid couple, we're just a random couple). That really is scary when you think about it though. Here's a random creepy tidbit for ya: Does anyone remember reading about the real Amityville murders? Ronald, aka Butch, DeFeo Jr murders his entire family (his mother, father, two younger brothers, and his two sisters). That's the basic story line....well here's the creepy part: The murderer looks just like my dad. Here's a pic: Alan and Johnny and Kyle can vouch for the resemblance. I'll bet you know my line of thinking after watching any of the Amityville movies. Hahahahaha I love my dad to death, but dang.

I have to say Secret Window. I thought about the movies meaning to me after my girlfriend broke up with me. I look at it this way God has really blessed me with no anger, hatred, or biterness towards her, because in the movie those thing consume Dep. Leding to the murdur of people. I think this movie is very power full in this way. It shows why we must forgive people who hurt us. Because buy harboring unforgiveness you never can tell how it may afect you. From mudering some one in thought, to being a jerk, or actually eventualy hateing the person enough to kill them.
Sorry about any wrong spelling I don't spell good!!!

I saw that flick and didn't think that at all, but that is way cool that you grabbed that from it. Thank you for sharing that, and kudos to you for not killing your x!

So, I saw Batman Begins...a good question that arises out of this flick is whether our society, and perhaps Christians themseleves (as the salt of society)...do we want justice or vengeance?
