The one I posted, haha.
And yeah, you're right. This and the DH boards were the only places I got to discuss Demon Hunter at length really.

Oh haha I didn't realize that's who it was - thought it was just some random picture you found on the internetz and that you were referring to some piece of art that Ryan made or something. That is pretty quality, I must admit.

Really? I thought Ryan's image was commonly known in these circles .... or at least bald & bearded, give or take the black denim and bullet belt.
Artwork's solid! Seagrave always manages to capture a certain, spirit, to his material ... this being no exception, love it.

The artwork is pretty awesome, and unlike Seagraves other stuff, like Jason stated. For the record, Demon Hunter is wiccan. (I've been a part of the DH forums since around 2003)

[...]. This is a lot more...raw and thematic. The cool thing about that is that it really suits the direction of the album. Experimental, raw, thematic, colorful, unpredictable. You wont have to listen through each song 100 times to grasp all that is going on. It is more up front and in your face. The same is true with this painting. There arent a billion details to discover. It is just...BOOM. And there it is. =) I like listening to an album a 100times and recognize something new everytime it gets another round! this art is btw really nice. My wig has flipped by the awesomeness of this. Dan Seagrave is a real beast! *prints it out and hang it on my wall even I don't know if this album is going to be uberawesome or not*

artwork's leaked, it's on metal injection. i'm sure it would have been better if Seagrave had been left to do his own thing, i'm not a fan of most of Ryan Clark's work. First Seagrave piece i've seen for ages that my first reaction hasn't been "that's freaking awesome" For the record, Ryan had no more part in this than he did in the Terminate Damnation painting. I told Ryan the idea, he forwarded it to Seagrave and then he painted what he saw in his mind. All of our records have been that way except of course that I told Ryan the idea for TPOF and he made it himself. =) I aint mad atcha. Just don't blame Ryan if you dont like it. Blame Seagrave for shooting out of his usual box. But personally, I like this MORE than most of Seagrave's stuff. The reason is that it is totally unique in his portfolio. Bright colors, big central figure, different style than most of his stuff etc. This piece is not about how "technical" he can paint. Most of his stuff is all the way tricked out like that. =) I stand corrected. Although the Dichotomy artwork grew on me over time, so this one might. edit: now i've seen a big version of it - it's actually freaking awesome.

Then I saw, and, behold, a likeness as the appearance of fire; from the appearance of his waist and downward, fire; and from his waist and upward, as the appearance of brightness, as it were glowing metal.

SS only does Vinyl for metalcore bands like ABR The unfortunate truth. But I imagine that even a limited run of 500 of anything BTA have released wouldn't be financially viable for the band.
