If you haven't noticed, we're doing a Song of the Week program on the website and we just kicked off week #2. Every Monday, we'll be posting a new track from our back catalog to discuss. Then on Friday, one of the band members will weigh in on the song or lyrics and tell a behind-the-scenes sort of story on the song.
Then, 11 days before Celestial Completion comes out, we'll be posting one track from CC each day and get discussion on those songs going.
Does this sound great or what?

Very cool! I am particularly excited to hear what the band members have to say about the songs. Speaking of which, does ANYONE have Joel's explanation of "An Open Grave" (Aletheian) that he posted on the Shards Remain forum years ago? I regret never copying/pasting/saving that.

If I remember correctly, it had something to do with terminal illness. That's all I can remember.

You're right. If my memory serves me correctly... Joel's neighbors had two young daughters who were both terminally ill and most likely wouldn't make it to teenagers but their outlooks on life were still really positive and faithful to God. I don't remember any more details though but remember that it was really powerful and inspiring. That also happens to probably be my favorite song of theirs.
