The other instrumental thread [ >] turned in to an instrumental post-rock thread which wasn't my intention. So this thread is for instrumental folk bands. I don't really know what folk means, probably non-rock sounding, strange/old instruments etc. Theres probably no one here that would know any (except for maybe Kerrick), but I thought I'd try anyway.

Thanks for posting those, Tumbled Sea is nice I bought that album hope its good.

Neun Welten is mighty good, as I mentioned before. I emailed my friend who's into a lot of that stuff so once he replies, I'll be sure to post what he's got to say here.

I talked to my buddy and I guess he mostly listens to folk with female vocals - I thought he had some instrumental stuff in there too but I guess not. Sorry I'm not more help! I'll keep my eyes out for some though.
