Hey, What do you guys do in your free time, besides listen to music, on an average summer day? I'm just wondering cause sometimes i feel like a loser sitting on the computer, sleeping, or playing video games all day... lol. But I've been helping out with my church the last few weeks some, so i've kept busy some. If i had a job or something though i'd keep busy, but have like zero free time. So, yeah, just wondering...

I read a lot in my free time. And spend time with Alan.

I just reorganized my CDs and DVDs and seeing what I can part with and get rid of. I'd like to play more guitar when I'm free. Then, I do have a wife at home too. :-)

I work full time so I don't have alot of free time. This is what I do when I have free time. I go to church almost every time the doors are open, study the Bible every day, lift weights six days a week, play the guitar when I have extra time, go to shows when ever I can, and hang out with my friends sometimes.

Play an instrument in your free time. Any instrument. I recently learned how to play the piano because I already knew how to play the guitar pretty well, so I gave the piano a shot. Surprisingly, I figured out a few chords and stuff. I just don't know the proper names and stuff like that.

Yeah, playing an instrument might be fun... i tryed playing guitar, but it got kinda hard/boring, so i stopped, then i played piano when i was a kid, but i probably forgot most, if not, all of what i knew, lol. I think drums would be cool to play though.

I work, and whenever I'm not working, I'm trying to learn how to play bass guitar. I'm not that good, but someone bought me a bass as a graduation present in May and said I should learn how to play it. All I could think was "Ok... now what?" But since it's too hot around St. Louis to be outside, I sit inside for a while and practice. Other than that... I read a bit. Charles Bukowski.

Wow, this is cool. I play guitar, bass, and piano whenever I can. I'm still in the process of learning bass though. Personally I think I'm better at piano than anything else. I can play some classical and a song that Dustin Caldwell wrote (hahaha Johnny, you might know what I mean when I mention that).
But yeah, I'm THINKING about taking drum lessons from Alan.

Wow, that's cool! You've progressed big time on the instrument if you can play something Dustin wrote!

I'll probably have me a lot of free time today. Between doing laundry other things around the house, I'll probably read some Chronicles of Narnia, play some guitar and I'm also supposed to meet up with a friend today to have a good man to man type of talk. Getting real and all that kind of stuff.
