Are you a walking contradiction?

I am. Here are a few of the reasons;

I like heavy metal that is LOUD and BRUTAL and TECHNICAL, as you could probably guess since I am on these boards.
-->But I also like softer stuff, soothing and melodic. Music like Enya and other Celtic or New Age music. I don't really like much in between the two extremes because it would usually bore me.

I laugh hard, loud, and often. More often than not I laugh the loudest and hardest in the room.
--> But I also cry hard and often. In many cases harder than I laugh. It's usually when I'm in the presence of the Lord and I am overcome with just how holy He is and at the same time how ridiculously sinful I am.

Ladies, you'll love this; I like to hug and cuddle.
-->Yet I'm prone to randomly punch my male friends in the arm or give them a purple nurple. Usually sets off little wars here and there.

Many times I am deeply introspective, inquisitive, philosophical, and serious.
--> And then, in a moment's time, I can become random and playful.

I like some chic flicks. Memoirs of a Geisha, anyone?
-->But I like action and war films even more, such as The Last Samurai and Gladiator.

Sometimes I am cold and callous and unfeeling.
--> Other times I'm about as emotional as a guy can be.

There are other reasons why I am a walking contradiction. Maybe I'll add more if I think of them.

I love heavy music, some of my favourite songs are "5 nails through the neck" and "Brain removal device" by Cannibal Corpse
-- I also am obsessed with romantic songs. Another favourite song of mine is "your song" by Elton John.

I am a total pacifist, I hate to fight and a single fight will ruin my entire week
-- But if you attack first, I will fight until I've won.

I laugh at everything. Even myself. I can find something funny in almost every situation
-- But I'm extremely depressed about half the time.

I am extremely emotional, to the point where I can't even bear to hear someone yelling at me
-- But I sometimes do things that border on psychopathy.

I have a Death shirt with an inverted cross on it, yet I'm a practicing(?) follower of Jesus.

I don't really think it makes any difference at all, either. Most people don't notice it since it's just a "t"...


Also, I'm all about loving and being a nice guy, and I'm often times a mediator in other friends arguments...yet I'm a complete jackass and douchebag and have few close friends as result of it.

That one was a little more depressing.

My favorite band is mewithoutYou, yet almost every other band I listen to is metal.

Guitar class is probably my least favorite class, although I love playing the guitar.

I hardly ever talk to people I don't know (or don't know to well), but in these boards I don't really care about sounding like an idiot.
