Last week I saw Necrophagist... they're so amazing. Everything was played perfectly. They're are a truely talented band. Also, the show was only 12 bucks, which totally rocked.

Going to see them in Ottawa with Ion Dissonance, Arsis, and Alarum. I'm really pumped for that. Ticks were $18 though.
It's the 6/6/06 show teh omg.

Nice, dude. 18 bucks is way worth it for Necrophagist alone. I wasn't able to get there early enough to see Arsis and Alarum, unfortunately. I ended up just seeing Animosity and Cattle Decapitation and then Necrophagist. I've seen Ion Dissonance before at another show, and they're good too.

They're also all hardcore vegans.
During one song, they said, "this is for all those effing Christians! about intelligent design!"
I thought they sucked pretty bad, even before Necrophagist put them to shame.

They're a bunch of jokers, no doot aboot it. I'm not a goregrind fan, but they have funny t-shirts.

Why are the covers violent? I mean Cattle Decapitation sounds sad. For all those ani,mal rights activists of course.

Their big thing is the role-reversal thing. So like, Humanure depicts a cow who's crapping out a human. Well, if you guys are meat-eaters, you crap out animal... so it's their social commentary of sorts.
They also have a shirt that says 'So many humans, so few recipes.'

Canadian part of the tour has been cancelled, probably rescheduled for the end of July. That means I can't go.
