Solid State should just be more tactful, and bands should be more aware.
Solid State distributes CDs to Christian bookstores. If a band doesn't want to be associated with Christians, either they should tell Solid State not to give their CDs to the Christian bookstores, or they should not sign with Solid State.

I'm not sure if I should believe you or not...but that's rather funny. I won't lie. Proof would be cool. I can't really show you any proof other than ask the moderator at the DH boards: xonetruedesirex. Ask him about Jordan Carpenter about Zao.

I used to talk to Gabe quite often over aim, he was in grand national hustler when dan took off from Zao and played in that band instead for a while. Very cool guy.

I do think Zao has changed. It's not possible for a band to stay the same when the line up changes so often. The lyrics in "Splinter Shards" and "All Else Failed" are far more overtly Christian. My personal favorite as far as the lyrics go is "Where blood and fire.." but it seems that up until "Funeral of God" their lyrics had been gradually becoming more and more obscure. Not a bad thing, necessarily. Liner notes, in my opinion, should read like a short poetry book. So yes, Zao is changing. But change isn't always a bad thing. Sometimes change is just change.

And remember...Zao has been changing since day 1. Remember Shawn Jonas and the gang? And of course, there were others before them.
