heres what i think...i know that a coupe of years back i hated church cause it felt like i was being yelled at and pointed out...so i imagine people that are not christians feel very insecure when chrstian bands do preach at them or something just like a church...so here is how it should sorta be done...admit to them your a christian band but your not going to shove things down their throats and that you just want to show everyone all the things God has done for you in YOUR *as in the band* life....and just tell them you like them and respect them all the same no matter if their black or white or red or blue or w/e or if their christian wiccan pagan satanist or w/e..do you see what im getting at here?...the music isnt ONLY for christians...and i dont see any problem with christian bands going to bars in order to share the gospel with them by once again...not shoving anything down their throats...you need to go to the darkest places in the world...and as for making an example...you need to be an example to the christian faith, by not cussing and getting arrested and respecting ALL people at your shows...

Jesus wasn't afraid to tell others the truth and He always went straight to the point....we are to be like Him and for that reason that's why when we preach we ought to do it with love and at the same time present it in truth... I mean this is really nit picky and i agree Jesus wasnt afraid, but actually he didnt always go straight to the point ie... If only you knew who i was...i can give you living water that youll thirst no more... etc. plus they will know us by our love. which is better shown than shouted.

I agree with that but I think that righteous anger exists (see Jesus in the temple). Going back to the example I used previously, if a friend calls a heretical sermon 'bullsh-t' is there sin in that?

Demon Hunter is a christian band...it would throw me for a loop if they said they werent...the name for example...Demon Hunter...they hunt down evil lol...erm...Ryan and Don Clark are long time christians and every band they have been in has been a christian band....they work at the label they know that solid state/tooth and nail is a christian label and how its built on trust...and i doubt they would break the trust of the label they work with....i believe Haste The Day is a christian band...their lyrics are very christian like....Dead Poetic..no...just..no..they say they are just christians in a band...and i dont even think He is legend has any spiritual connection in their music..oooo the controversey....lol

Here's a bit of lyrics that confused me:
She's a maverick she's so smooth If things go according to plan I'll have her finished by five a.m.
---- Down, Set, Go - underOATH
I can't interpret that in any way other than Spencer singing about a girl he's going to sleep with?
Help please?
