Been on a bit of buying spree in the last month or two... lots of DOOM. I got all three Faith albums, all four Forsaken full-lengths (plus I just ordered their MCD), the new My Silent Wake: "Rare and Live Material Vol 1," as well as the new Kauan album/shirt (can't wait til it arrives!). The new Unexpect is also excellent. Bands I'm looking forward to their upcoming releases (no order): -Les Discrets -Alcest -Empyrium -The Drowning -My Silent Wake -Grave Declaration -Antestor And I'm sure there's plenty more but that's all I can think of at the moment...

Still waiting for that Forsaken MCD and Kauan album. But my music binging has continued... (I did recently get a raise and bonus so that's how I'm justifying it hahaha.) I recently ordered:
Seventh Angel - The Torment Seventh Angel - Lament for the Weary Asunder/Like Flies on Flesh - Split (stoked I found it! that will complete my Asunder collection) Neun Welten - Vergessene Pfade Neun Welten - Destrunken
Videodrome Blu Ray (Criterion Collection version)

The two Seventh Angel albums came in which are both pretty good. I'm not the biggest thrash fan, but being a huge fan of Ian Arkley's other stuff, I went ahead and got 'em and they're mighty good! Kauan's new album is also very good (only had the chance to listen to it once thus far). It continues on from where their last album left off but is a bit more atmospheric and darker (especially towards the end of the album), though still retaining much beauty.

Neun Welten's two albums came in and they're awesome. Been getting into the neo-folk a little more... The Asunder/Like Flies on Flesh isn't half-bad either.

The Third and the Mortal - Painting on GlassThe 3rd and the Mortal - In This Room, Tears Laid in Earth uneXpect - Fables of the Sleepless Empire Good call on the The 3rd and the Mortal albums. "Painting on glass" is one of my top favorite albums of all time. Their compilation album entitled "EP's and Rarities" is also excellent. Their other two albums CD's are good, though probably more for the die-hard fans. The Unexpect album is also great. It's definitely more along the lines of "...Aquarium" than "Utopia" though it seems to flow a little better in my opinion; it's a little more cohesive I think, kind of like "The Shiver" trilogy from "...Aquarium." As for me, I recently purchased the Les Discrets/Arctic Plateau split as well as Arctic Plateau's full length. I'm looking forward to the upcoming full-lengths from these bands: -Dispirit -The Drowning -Les Discrets -Wolves in the Throne Room

Seventh Angel - "The Dust of Years" Definitely much more of a doom album than thrash, but I like that about it. Very solid stuff. If you like My Silent Wake's stuff, you should for sure enjoy that album!

The Drowning - Fall Jerusalem Fall (plus a couple of their t-shirts)
One of my favorite doom/death bands. Their latest album doesn't disappoint! I also got Njiqahdda's latest, Disciples of Flame which is alright. Very cool packaging and artwork, though I was hoping for something with a little more to it... it's more neo-folk/ambient and very minamalistic.
