You guys still have to understand that the US is one of the cheapest places in the world to buy gas. Even compared to Canada, your gas prices are really low. Compared to Europe, it's basically a steal.
So um... be grateful? I sort of forgot what the point of this post was.

That's irrelevant. The USA is the cheapest place to buy gas in the world if you do the currency and measurement conversions.

LOL, just messing with you, that's a fact but I'm just bean mean and sarcastic. But yes, we are very cheap compared to several countries at this very moment, the UK and Japan are PRIME examples of expensive gas. Though Japan has better octane ratings on some of their gas..
