I have a bad feeling about this... Psh whatever! Joel and Ethan Coen are my favorite movie makers of all time. They are yet to make a bad movie in my opinion. I will admit though, I have not seen the original, but I think the remake looks spectacular. Speaking of remakes, "Let Me In" looks pretty good - comes out this weekend. The original is one of the best vampire flicks I've seen and the remake looks very promising, though I'm not sure an English-version is necessary. It does look to be a near shot-for-shot remake however - hopefully they change it enough so that it's worth watching.

Of course it will! Zack Snyder is directing it. Should be cool regardless though.

Saw "Black Swan" last night - not bad but nothing too special. I think Darren Aronofsky's films are generally the "deep-thinker/symbolic/artsy"-movies for the generally-non-deep-thinking/non-artsy mainstream. If a bit pretentious, it was overall a well done film and the acting was phenomenal, though the plot was very predictable and fairly cliche. A decent rental or matinee I would say.

"True Grit" was really good for all those who haven't seen it. I highly suggest it. I'm actually kinda looking forward to "Drive Angry." But I have a bit of a soft spot for campy movies like that...

Is Public Enemies worth spending time seeing?

I saw the ending of it on tv - depends on what kind of movies you like. If you're a fan of Ridley Scott/Jerry Bruckheimer-type movies then you'll probably like it. It looked like a reasonably well-done movie but very by-the-books, standard Hollywood drama that you've seen a million times before. Personally I wouldn't bother...
