Aside from the fact that some governments outlaw it (and their rules should be respected to a certain extent), I don't see anything morally wrong with it.
"ZOMGSH, you smoke a lot, you're going to get teh lung cancer!1"
Yeah, probably. But if you eat a lot of burgers, you're probably going to have a heart-attack.
There's really no good argument for saying that weed is wrong to smoke. Personally, I don't do it because of the whole "illegal" crap in the States. Plus, I'm cool with not making yet another addiction. Caffeine is all I can handle right now.

Also, nobody has ever died a marijuana-related death. You can't get lung cancer from smoking marijuana. As well, it is not physically addictive, and is only mentally addictive if you allow it to be.

Do they give cancer patients in the States weed for pain and stuff?
They do it over here.

They give it to people with certain issues. I know they give it to people with MS and I think epileptics.

Chewing a leaf doesn't give you lung cancer. What you're smoking is not what gives you lung cancer--it's inhaling the smoke.
Yes, you can get lung cancer from smoking weed...some studies show that the risk is even greater than the common cigarette.
Where did you hear that it doesn't?

Side note: Actually, marijuana isn't legal anywhere (as far as i know and excluding medical uses etc). It's even illegal in Amsterdam. The thing is it's just "tolerated."
I have a good friend who's I guess you could say "addicted" to weed. He's even gotten withdraws when not smoking for a long period of time.
Also, I'd say having a lot of weed is generally bad because it defiantly slows down your thought process. You may think your thinking about things more deeply but it's taking at least twice as long.

What's wrong with making it your life, or being addicted to it? It's no different than being addicted to life, I think.
