Yeah I thought it looked pretty dumb from the trailers but it was actually pretty decent. Nothing to write home about, but certainly enjoyable for what it is.

Oh. Haha in the words of one of my friends I went to see that with, "that was one of the most f**king depressing movies I have ever seen!"

I've been looking forward to this one for a couple years now, though I can't say I'm too impressed with the trailer... "The Fall" was absolutely spectacular (and "The Cell" had moments of greatness), though this just looks like "300" meets "Clash of the Titans" (sucky remake). Tarsem may be selling out on this one...

Green Mile was awesome.
Game of Thrones is basically the best TV series.

Watched Pirates of the Carebean 4, was very mediocre/average. Had a couple of scenes that made me lol though, so 2/5.

Dude, Green Mile is a really well done movie, even if it does have Tom Hanks in it... (Anyone else not like Tom Hanks? I only know one or two other folks who can't stand him too.)
I enjoyed the first Pirates movie enough until I had to watch it again. Never bothered to see any of the rest. Hobo with a Shotgun sucked - don't watch it! That's the last movie I saw in theaters. Doesn't seem to be a whole lot good coming out these days... I'm still waiting for The Tree of Life to come out somewhere close to me. I think that'll be pretty good. Any other Malick fans here?

Anyone seen "Midnight in Paris" yet? My friend and I went to go see it but he wasn't feeling well so we left... It seemed to be a good movie though. I'm not a fan of Woody Allen's acting, but the films he's directed I really enjoy a lot ("Match Point," "Cassandra's Dream," "Vicky Cristina Barcelona," etc.) so I have reasonably high expectations for this one. Plus Owen Wilson is a cool actor and Rachel McAdams is totally hot haha.

Gentlemen Broncos = WTF
I thoroughly enjoyed Youth in Revolt (though no one else will find it funny, I found it hilarious that it took place in Ukiah)

Ukiah??? Dude, I was just there a few weeks ago! I have family there. My grandparents and aunt and uncle live in Ukiah and my dad grew up there. I went motorcycle riding from there, over Cow Mountain, and into Lake County. I might have to see that movie now...
P.S. Did you ever go to the park where they had the giant rocket ship play structure you could climb up in? Last time I was there, they had torn it down which made me really sad! I used to love that as a kid!
